BTS has achieved yet another impressive achievement, this time with a music video released over 5 years ago; understand what it’s all about!
On April 9, BTS broke another record! This time, the MV for the Japanese version of “Airplane Pt.2”, released in 2018, surpassed the 300 million views mark on YouTube. Thus, becoming the first Japanese music video to reach this milestone. Remember!
“Airplane Pt.2” is the boy group’s 21st MV to reach 300 million views. In addition to it, “DNA”, “Fire”, “Dope”, “Blood Sweat & Tears”, “MIC Drop (Steve Aoki Remix)”, “Fake Love”, “Save Me”, “IDOL”, “Not Today” , “Boy With Luv”, “Boy In Luv”, “Spring Day”, “Dynamite”, “ON (Kinetic Manifesto Film: Come Prima)”, “Life Goes On”, “Butter”, “Black Swan”, ” Permission to Dance”, “ON” and “War of Hormone” surpassed the mark (via Soompi).
Formed in 2013 by Big Hit Entertainment (currently BigHit Music), BTS has seven members, namely: Jin, Suga, J-Hope,Jimin, V, Jungkook It is RM. In almost 11 years of career, the group has accumulated hits that have caught the eye of K-pop, such as “DNA”, “Dynamite”, “Boy With Luv”, “Fake Love” and much more.
Currently, all members are performing mandatory military service in the South Korean army, and are only expected to return in their full lineup in 2025. Their most recent comeback took place in June 2022, with the album “Proof”. The project, which features the group’s biggest hits, has 35 songs. Remember!
