This Monday, 8th, the streaming platform Max (formerly HBO Max), revealed the subtitled teaser for the documentary series “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Children’s TV”, which, in four episodes, promises to reveal the behind-the-scenes of popular children’s programs shown on TV during the 1990s and early 2000s. In the episodes, reports from former cast members, their families, and series teams led by Dan Schneiderreveal how the dynamics established behind the cameras in series such as ‘Tudo Em Cima’ (All That), ‘Zoey 101’, ‘iCarly’ and ‘Brilhante Victória’ (Victorious), was full of inappropriate behavior, and even, criminals.
Among the most shocking testimonies in the documentary is that of Drake Bellstar of “Drake & Josh”, who exposed for the first time cases of sexual abuse caused by former Nickelodeon producer, Brian Peckfaced by him during the filming of “The Amanda Show”.
