Boy group HIGHLIGHT has regained the rights to its original name, BEAST. The information was confirmed this Tuesday, 2, through a statement issued by Around Us Entertainment, the group’s agency, celebrating the achievement. Until then, the rights belonged to the company Cube Entertainment, responsible for forming the group.

“We have smoothly concluded the mutual agreement on the use of BEAST’s trademark. Regardless of the group name they promote under, it is a novelty to be able to display the BEAST group name. We hope this becomes a meaningful gift for BEAST fans HIGHLIGHT on its 15th debut anniversary,” said Around Us Entertainment (via Soompi).
Through the note, it is possible to understand that, even recovering the name BEAST, the training will follow the promotions as HIGHLIGHT. The group officially debuted in October 2009, under the name BEAST, through CUBE Entertainment. However, when their exclusive contracts expired in 2017, the boy group left the original company, and created their own agency, called Around Us Entertainment.
Currently, the boy group has four members. Being them: Lee Gi-kwang, Yoon Doo-joon, Son Dong-woon It is Yoseob. Their most recent comeback took place in March 2024, with the ep ‘Switch On’, which features six songs. Listen!
