Prince Julian of Sweden celebrated his third birthday on Tuesday, March 26. His parents, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia, posted a photo of the little boy on their Instagram the next day. His short blonde locks parted to the side, his big blue eyes staring into the camera, the young prince, all smiles, is about to blow out a large candle in the shape of three, staring at the yellow cake in front of him. “Today we celebrate 3 years with you, dear Julia,” her parents wrote in the caption of their post.

Born on March 26, 2021, Julian is the youngest of the three children of the princely couple. He is also the youngest of eight grandchildren of King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia. The royal couple rarely publishes photos of their children, except on special occasions, such as birthdays. The very first photo of Prince Julian was published on the couple’s Instagram when he was only two days old. Princess Sofia announced on social networks immediately after giving birth. “Life has given me not one, but four handsome princes.” This little blonde head is preceded by two more boys, Alexander, born on April 19, 2016, and Gabriel, born on August 31, 2017.
