Titled in Brazil as “The Dark Side of Children’s TV”, the documentary features strong accusations made by former Nickelodeon actors
This Thursday, the 28th, the streaming platform Max announced the long-awaited premiere date in Brazil of the documentary series “Quiet on Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV” (via Rolling Stone Brasil), a production that presents the dark behind-the-scenes of some of Nickelodeon’s top children’s series.
With the national title of “The Dark Side of Children’s TV”, the production will reach the Brazilian catalog on April 16th. Since its release in the United States last week, the documentary has generated great repercussion on social networks and in the international media, due to the strong testimonies of some of the channel’s former stars.

Dan Schneiderdirector responsible for creating series such as “iCarly”, “Drake & Josh”, “Brilhante Victoria”, “Sam & Cat” and “Zoey 101”, is accused in the production by cast members and journalists of creating toxic environments on the sets of recording, in addition to writing scenes for underage actors with sexual content.
Another strong complaint presented in “The Dark Side of Children’s TV” is that of the actor Drake Bellprotagonist of “Drake Josh”, who reveals for the first time that he was sexually abused by the Nickelodeon producer, Brian Peckat the time when they both worked on the series “The Amanda Show”.
