‘Dragon Ball’ will receive its first theme park in Saudi Arabia

After the death of Akira Toriyama, creator of ‘Dragon Ball’, the franchise will receive its first theme park, in Saudi Arabia. According to information from Qiddiya Investment Company and Toei Animation, the park will be located in Qiddiya, an entertainment and tourism project located in Riyadh, the country’s capital. The space will have more than 500 thousand square meters, with seven areas inspired by the iconic scenes from ‘Dragon Ball’. Among them are Master Roshi’s House, Planet Beerus and the Capsule Corporation. It is worth noting that the park will feature references from the entire franchise, including manga, films, anime and games.

In addition to the new attractions, the park space will also consist of themed hotels and restaurants. Unfortunately for fans, the project does not yet have an opening date. However, when accessing Qiddiya’s official website, it is possible to see projections of the location. More information should be released soon.

The ‘Dragon Ball’ franchise emerged in 1984, under the creation of Akira Toriyama. In Brazil, the manga series is available through the Globoplay streaming service, in addition to the website Crunchyroll, a platform that has the largest anime catalog in the world.
