Elizabeth II’s son appeared on horseback, dressed in a red suit and his legendary bearskin headdress, to make his first parade as king. However, this year Queen Camilla’s husband could very well deviate from the rule. In fact, the latter announced on February 5 that he was sick with cancer, causing a great stir in the United Kingdom.

As reported on this Monday, March 18, a number of media outlets of the channel, including: Daily Mail: , the doctors advised the sovereign to ban, at least for the time being, events involving excessively large gatherings from his agenda. Royal Air Force Parade

As a reminder, the tradition of Trooping the Color requires the monarch to ride down the Mall from Buckingham Palace to Horse Guards Parade before being saluted by the military. The latter then returns to the palace to appear on the balcony surrounded by members of the royal family. They all end up watching the Royal Air Force fly hole. It should be noted that on the last birthday of Charles III, 1400 soldiers, 200 horsemen and about 400 musicians gathered.

Since announcing his illness, the King of England has not been seen in public again, as has his daughter-in-law Kate Middleton, who has been recovering from abdominal surgery for two months. The King has received many letters of support from royal fans and Britons. “He is very touched by all the messages that the public has sent him everywhere. It’s very reassuring,” his wife Camilla told AFP on February 10.
