Discover some classic Disney villains who, despite being part of different stories, had a very similar end
In addition to being known for having countless memorable protagonists, ranging from princes and princesses, to fairies and pirates, Disney also has a huge list of memorable villains, capable of doing whatever possible to destroy their rival’s plans in their plots.
However, despite each character having completely unique characteristics and motivations, many still have one thing in common in their stories: their end. This is because, if we analyze some animations, it is possible to notice that many antagonists have a very similar death.
With that in mind, RECREIO brought a list of five Disney villains who died in the same way: with a fall. Look!
1. Gaston — Beauty and the Beast
In “Beauty and the Beast”, Gaston cannot accept that Belle is the only woman in the village who does not dream of marrying him, and that she ended up falling in love with the Beast. Thus, after the villagers invade the castle, the villain enters into a clash with the prince and, after stabbing him in the back, ends up losing his balance and falling.
2. Mother Gothel — Tangled
At the end of “Tangled”, after Rapunzel loses the power of her hair, Gothel’s youthful charm ends and, after automatically assuming an advanced age, she falls from the tower window and turns to dust.
3. Scar — The Lion King
At the beginning of “The Lion King”, Scar also kills his own brother by letting him fall down a hill and be run over by a herd of wildebeest. The villain ends up having a very similar ending since, after a battle with Simba, he also falls from a considerable height, being attacked by hyenas shortly afterwards.
4. Evil Queen — Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
Known as Disney’s first villain, the Evil Queen, also known as Queen Grimhilde, in “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs”, the villain dies after the cliff she was standing on is struck by lightning, and she falls from a huge height.
5. Charles Muntz — UP! High Adventures
In the last moments of “UP! High Adventures”, while Charles Muntz chases Russell, Kevin and Dug, the villain ends up getting his foot caught in the balloons, and falls after the ropes break.
