When asked if the image of Superman circulating online was real, the filmmaker made it clear that it was a montage; know more!
On February 29th, james gunn released an image of Superman’s costume in his new film, which will be played by David Corenswet. After that, alleged photographs of the actor portrayed as the Man of Steel began to circulate on social media. However, it was a montage created using AI.
Then, Gunn used Threads to deny the rumors and, mainly, detonate the published image. This happened after the filmmaker was asked by a fan whether the photo of Superman was real or not. Check out the translation below james gunn replied to the fan!
We will see. Can the man on the left take a photo holding an amorphous black blob while looking through an eyeball on the front of his cap? Could the man on the right’s torso grow out of his right hip and could he be stupid enough to wear pants with a drawstring in the back? Are David Corenswet’s hands made of wax, without bones or veins? And can Superman’s shorts be knitted with wool? Ask yourself these questions and I’m sure you’ll be able to answer them yourself,” concluded the filmmaker.
