Jungkook’s first solo album, released in November 2023, broke unimaginable new records; find out which ones!
The first solo album by Jungkookby BTS, “GOLDEN” was released in November 2023 and began climbing again on the Billboard 200 chart. On February 27, it was confirmed by Billboard that the artist’s album jumped 62 on the Top Albums chart.
This week, the album returned to No. 75 for its 16th consecutive week on the Billboard 200, becoming the first album by a Korean solo artist to spend 16 weeks on the Billboard 200. Additionally, Jungkook also increased his record for longest-running K-pop solo artist on Billboard’s Artist 100, ranking at No. 41 in its 28th week on the chart. Listen!
More than that, all three singles from the album “GOLDEN” performed great on both global Billboard charts this week. It is worth remembering that, in the American charts, “Seven”, a partnership with Latto was in 18th place, while “Standing Next to You” in 24th and “3D”, with Jack Harlow reached 74th position. Meanwhile, on Globo 200, the positions were: “Seven” in 27th, “Standing Next to You” in 28th and “3D” in 108th.
