Communities must take steps to consider the recommendations and suggestions of the Expert Council on Intangible Cultural Heritage to ensure the protection of new elements.
The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy reported that four new elements were added to the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Ukraine.
The corresponding order was signed by Acting Minister of Culture and Information Policy Rostislav Karandeev.
The list includes:
– traditions of preparation and consumption of Zozuli porridge in the Vinnytsia region – it is prepared from millet and boiled in the oven for a long time;
– the tradition of making grout in the village of Krivaya Luka, Donetsk region;
– coffee tradition of the Crimean Tatars;
– Agir ava ve Kaytarma – traditional dance of the Crimean Tatars.
We remind you that earlier the tradition of the Generous Night was recognized as the intangible cultural heritage of Ukraine.
