Find out who the princesses wear pants are in their main animations produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios
When it comes to the clothing of Disney princesses, it is likely that the first images that emerge are the beautiful and pompous dresses used during the plot, such as the one Cinderella wears at the ball where she meets Prince Enantado or the one Elsa wears when she sings the most famous song from the “Livre Isso” franchise.
Still, it’s not just full skirts that the princesses’ wardrobe is made up of, as three of the studio’s 13 princesses (Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel , Mérida, Moana, and Raya) were also seen wearing pants in their main animations. But who are they?
Jasmine
Appearing in 1992 with the release of “Aladdin”, Jasmine was the first princess to wear pants in the Mickey Mouse universe. The character, who in the plot is willing to write her own future, as she defies the customs and rules imposed for her marriage, is the daughter of the Sultan of Agrabah and Aladdin’s love interest.
Mulan

The second of these was Mulan, the warrior princess of China. Released in 1998, the animation follows the girl who gives the film its title, showing that Mulan does not fit into the standards of the time and challenges Chinese tradition.
So much so, that he shows enormous courage by disguising himself as a man and fighting for his country of origin in the war against the Huns. This is because Mulan enlists in the army in place of her father, who was too sick to go to the battlefield.
In this way, she counts on the support of her dragon Mushu to keep her real identity a secret while defending China.
Raya

The most recent on the list is Raya, from “Raya and the Last Dragon”. The character, who in her story becomes the warrior responsible for restoring peace on earth, is considered one of the Disney princesses, but has not yet had her official coronation carried out by the studio.
The plot has the following synopsis: “A long time ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. But when an evil force threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, the same evil has returned and it is up to a lone warrior, Raya, to track down the legendary last dragon to restore the shattered land and its divided people. However, along her journey, she will learn that it will take more than a dragon to save the world – it will also take trust and teamwork.”
