Being one of Pixar’s most successful franchises, “Cars” begins with the plot that hit theaters in 2006 following Lightning McQueen, a famous racing car, who gets lost while heading to the jump-off race in the Piston Cup, and He ends up stopping in a small town called Radiator Springs on Route 66, where he discovers new purposes and great love.

The plot gained two sequels, released in 2011 and 2017, where in addition to McQueen, several other cars were featured in the adventures that followed. 5. Sally Carrera

Introduced in the first film as McQueen’s love interest, Sally Carrera is incredibly similar to the sports car that shares her name: a Porsche Carrera. The model in question is the 911, launched in 2002 and currently priced from R$929,000.

4. Cruz Ramirez

Responsible for training Relâmpago, Cruz Ramirez has no hint of his off-screen role model in his name. However, the character’s appearance is similar to two cars:

  • Ferrari F12tdf: limited series of 799 units created in honor of the Tour de France and launched in 2015;
  • Corvette C7: seventh generation of the Corvette sports car.

3. Luigi

A Ferrari fanatic, Luigi is an Italian tire expert and salesman. Off-screen, he is a Fiat 500, a model created in the 1950s.

2. Jackson Storm

Seen in the third film of the franchise and presented as McQueen’s greatest rival, Jackson Storm is a Cadillac who is part of the new generation of high-tech racers.

The exact model of Storm is difficult to identify, as it may have undergone changes to be transformed into a track car in the franchise. However, it is similar to the 2013 Cadillac Elmiraj concept.

The protagonist, Lightning McQueen, bears a strong resemblance to the Chevrolet Corvette C6, an acronym that represents the sixth generation of the sports car.
