The first semi-final of Eurovision will take place on Tuesday 7 May, the second semi-final on Thursday 9 May and the grand final on Saturday 11 May 2024.
This year, 24-year-old singer and dancer LUNA will represent Poland on the international music stage in Malmö with the track The Tower. This was reported on the competition website with a link to the Polish TV channel TVP.
“The Tower” is an electro-pop song about a man’s inner strength, as well as the obstacles he overcomes on the path to happiness. The track was written in the UK in collaboration with musicians Fyfe and Max Cooke specifically for the Eurovision Song Contest.
However, local residents did not like the choice of the contestant and expressed their anger at the results of the National Selection. After all, Poland does not have a voting system for spectators and judges. The country’s representative in the competition is chosen only by a professional jury, appointed the previous day by the public broadcaster TVP. So the Poles said they didn’t choose it.
But the favorite of many viewers was Justyna Stechkovskaya, who took second place.
