Jewelry that adds a touch of romance and sensuality. the perfect combination for a bright statement on Valentine’s Day.
Is Valentine’s Day mandatory? Why not go straight with jewelry that shows off the color? Red evokes passion, power and energy. Pink in turn embodies tenderness, romance and femininity. With enamel and precious stones, jewelers know how to make the most of them and compete in creativity.
Passion red
Red jewelry is always popular during this lovers’ celebration, especially when we find it in the shape of a heart. To represent it, jewelers use enamel or lacquer, as on Achilles’ bracelet with a heart struck by lightning, or Van Cleef & Arpels’ iconic Sweet Alhambra ring, in which the heart-shaped petal appears to have been simply stripped of its leaves. Ruby, with its deep red, is also the right stone, as in Sophie D’Agon’s very expensive L’Amour pendant.
Delicate pink
On February 14, romance is everywhere. we find it with pink opal-like stones in the Chopard with the Happy Hearts collection. Another possibility is jeweler Fred, who set a heart-cut pink sapphire in his Pretty Woman pendant. The funniest? A Bouche ring by the creator of Môme Bijou, offered in powder pink for the occasion.
