In addition to the premiere date on the Max streaming platform, “Franjinha e Milena em Busca da Ciência” also received an official trailer; look!
THE WAIT IS NEAR TO END! A Max (formerly HBO Max), confirmed that “Franjinha e Milena em Busca da Ciência” will debut in the streaming platform’s catalog on February 27th, where it will be available throughout Latin America.
Furthermore, last Thursday, the 15th, the official trailer for the plot was released, showing more details of the new adventure in the “real world” of the characters from Brazil’s most beloved comics: Turma da Mônica. Check out the preview:
In this adventure, divided into eight episodes, the duo is accompanied by the smart and inseparable dog Bidu on a fun scientific mission: unveil the secrets of time travel! Science emerges as the answer to each mystery and together they carry out experiments – from creating a microscope to programming a robot – while strengthening a friendship full of collaboration and learning.
For the plot to take shape, Fabricio Gabriel was cast in the role of the curious and creative scientist Franjinha, while Bia Lisboa was chosen to give life to Milena, a nature enthusiast who exudes attitude, curiosity and representativeness.
The series is directed by Mauro D’Addio with artistic supervision from Daniel Rezende, known for his popular film adaptations of Turma da Mônica. The production is in charge of Discovery Kids in collaboration with Biônica Filmes and Mauricio de Sousa Produções, in addition to marking the first original children’s series to be launched on Max.
It is worth remembering that the series also premieres on the same day on Discovery Kids, at 1 pm (Brasília time zone – with a rerun at 8:30 pm), in Brazil. New episodes will be released from Monday to Friday, always at the same time.
