“He is far from being a victim.” Prince Harry was cast in The Mirror by a former polo pal

In A mirror This Wednesday, a former close friend of the Duke of Sussex spoke under a pseudonym and claimed Harry had “nothing to do with the man he dated” a few years ago.

Prince Harry’s complaints anger not only the royal family. His old friends are also losing patience. In A mirror On Wednesday 31 January, Edward Charles Featherstone, a pseudonym chosen by a brave ‘former polo friend’, claimed that the Duke of Sussex had ‘nothing to do with the man who[il a] meet” a few years ago. She told a British tabloid that she found her memoirs “disappointing” which describe her as a “victim”.

In the first part of his memoirs in January 2023 Spare (The substitute, French), Prince Harry did not spare the Windsor clan. Not only did he recall a bitter row with his brother William, he also claimed to have taken cocaine from the age of 17 or even opposed his father Charles, now king, remarrying Camilla Parker-Bowles, who was “dangerous” and “evil” mother-in-law.

“Take Control”

These revelations did not go down well with ‘Edward Charles Featherstone’, her former gambling buddy. Who also sent a scathing letter to the Duke of Sussex in which he is clearly not mincing his words and calls for “taking back control”.

“I’m just telling him to pull himself together, that he’s not a victim, that he’s doing a noble thing as a torchbearer for the Invictus Games. [une compétition sportive dédiée aux vétérans et blessés de guerre, créée par Harry en 2014, NDLR]and what he’s doing now and what he’s done to his family, I don’t think is appropriate,” he assures. A mirror. If he does not publish the contents of his letter, “Edward Charles Featherstone” assures that he will publish it within days. “It remains to be seen whether I’ll do it discreetly, on the H2Z site or the Rude Chronicles site, or if I’ll do it a little more obviously and take over the page LA Times. But at some point I will probably publish this letter.’

Despite the explosive revelations in his autobiography, Prince Harry was keen to point out that he never intended to “harm” his family. “I love my father, I love my brother, I love my family and I always will. Nothing I have written in this book was done with the intention of offending or harming them,” he insisted in an interview with the British ITV channel, assuring that he hoped for “reconciliation” on the condition of establishing “responsibilities”, in particular his wife Going to California with Meghan Markle in 2020. It’s been four years since this episode was christened ‘Megxit’ by the English press, and the understanding between the Sussexes and the royal family is still not in good shape.
