GOT7’s BamBam cancels US tour after ankle injury

During last Thursday, 25th, BamBam, GOT7 has canceled the North American leg of their “AREA 52” world tour. ABYSS COMPANY explained that the tour had been canceled due to the singer’s worsening ankle injury.

We regret to inform you that Bambam THE 1ST WORLD TOUR [AREA 52] in the USA, scheduled from February 10 to 24, 2024, will inevitably be canceled due to the worsening of the artist’s ankle injury.

We were excited about the upcoming US tour and were preparing new music to be played in the US for the first time. However, the artist’s ankle got worse while training for the new song. After numerous discussions, we reached the difficult decision to cancel the US tour as continuing with the original schedule was deemed inappropriate for the artist’s well-being. We extend our deepest gratitude to all the fans who have shown great interest in the show and we sincerely apologize for any disappointment caused by the cancellation of this highly anticipated tour.

We will prioritize artist health and well-being to ensure a smooth return to reconnect with fans throughout the remainder of the tour schedule.

Show tickets and the VIP Package will be fully refunded, and detailed information will be released by US promoter Knowmerce on their official social media channel @fromm_store.

Shortly afterwards, the singer used his Twitter account to apologize to his fans. “I’m sorry for disappointing you. All I want is to bring a new special gift to all US fans and surprise everyone with my new music. I should have cared more about my health. And I know how you support AREA 52 in every way. I’m sorry loves,” he wrote.

BamBam would perform in Oakland, Chicago, Washington, Los Angeles, New York and Los Angeles between February 10 and 24, 2024. It is worth noting that, to date, ABYSS COMPANY has not commented on the shows BamBam in Latin America, which will begin in March.

In this stage of the tour, in addition to Chile, Mexico and Puerto Rico, there is a date for São Paulo, on March 5th, at Vibra São Paulo. For now, all shows are still going on, depending on the health of BamBam.
