Discover details about the new film that BLACKPINK’s Jisoo will participate in, including cast and story!
On January 24, the cast of ‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’ was announced. The title is provisional, but the actors are not. The South Korean film will feature Jisooby BLACKPINK, Lee Min Ho, Chae Soo Bin, Choi Young Joon, Park Ho San, Shin Seung Ho and much more!
‘Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint’ will be based on a web novel that has the same name. The film will tell the story of Kim Dok Ja, who, after reading a web novel, starts to have a life like the one he read. The production will star Lee Min Hoin the role of Yoo Joong Hyuk.
It is worth noting that Yoo Joong Hyuk will be the main character of a fictional web novel, and will have another chance to remake his life after he dies. According to information released by the Soompi portal, the character will survive until the end, in a world of ruins.
The film will be directed by Kim Byung Woo, from ‘The Terror Live’ and ‘Take Point’. The production will be carried out by REALIES Pictures, also responsible for producing the series ‘Along With the Gods: The Two Worlds’. Furthermore, the Smilegate entertainment group will also invest in the film, which will be its first Korean film.
Jisoo’s acting debut
Jisoofrom BLACKPINK, made her acting debut in 2021 with ‘Snowdrop’, a K-drama that features the romance between Im Soo Ho, a spy, and Eun Young-ro (Jisoo), a student. Im Soo Ho pneeded a place to live after being injured and Eun Young-ro helps himgives you the chance to hide.
The production has 16 episodes lasting around 1h30 each. ‘Snowdrop’ was originally broadcast in South Korea through Broadcaster JTBC, between December 18, 2021 and February 5, 2022. In Brazil, it is available on the Star+ streaming service. Watch the trailer below!
