The group (G)I-DLE released this morning “Wife”, the first track from their new album “2”; know more!
The group (G)I-DLE is coming back! Last Sunday, the 21st, the girl group released an iconic video for “Wife”, a pre-release track that will be part of the group’s next album “2”, which will be released on January 29th, next week.
It is worth highlighting that, according to the Soompi website, Jeon Soyeon, leader of (G)I-DLE, co-composed the lyrics for “Wife” and wrote all the other lyrics on the album herself. Check out the MV for “Wife” and be surprised by the aesthetics of the music video!
“2” will be (G)I-DLE’s new album since March 2022, when the girls released “I Feel.” The album has eight songs, namely: “Queencard”, “Allergy”, “Lucid”, “All Night”, “Paradise” and “Peter Pan”.
Formed by Cube Entertainment, (G)I-DLE, a South Korean multinational girl group, debuted in May 2018 with the track “LATATA”. Currently, the girl group is made up of five members: Miyeon, Soyeon, Minnie, Yuqi It is Shuhua. The member Soojin unfortunately left the group in August 2021.
For those who don’t remember, in 2019, (G)I-DLE was one of the k-pop groups that participated in the first edition of “Queendom”. In addition to them, Oh My Girl, AOA, MAMAMOO, Lovelyz and Park Bom, from 2NE1 were on the show. With the most votes, MAMAMOO was the winning group of the season!
