Next Sunday, the 14th, the 29th edition of the Critics Choice Awards will take place, an important award that recognizes some of the main achievements in television and cinema, with evaluations carried out by specialized critics. The event is also recognized for being a parameter for Oscar nominations, the main cinema award.
Winners in all categories are chosen through the Critics Choice Association, known for being the largest association of critics in the United States and Canada, with more than 600 members, including audiovisual production critics and entertainment journalists.
The long-awaited event is scheduled to take place at 9pm (Brasília time), at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, Los Angeles, United States, lasting approximately three hours, and live broadcast on TNT channel and streaming platform HBO Max.
This year’s edition will be hosted by comedian, TV presenter and best-selling author, Chelsea Handler, who is leading the ceremony for the second year. The Brazilian broadcast will feature comments from Aline Dinizjournalist and presenter specializing in films and series.
