They noted that the creative team that created the issue did not seek to hurt the feelings of Ukrainians.

The company 1+1 responded to the scandalous issue of Kvartal 95 about a migrant from Skadovsk. The 1+1 press service stated its position in response to a request from Media Detector.

They promised to remove the video from YouTube and cut it out of the concert entirely.

“We understand the anger of the society and we apologize to the audience affected by this issue. The creative team that created this issue did not want to hurt the feelings of Ukrainians. In the episodes of Evening Quarter, the team jokes about themselves, raising current topics , sometimes exaggerating them, which is one of the laws of humor. Such is the case,” said the answer.

We remind you that the editor-in-chief of the Kherson publication Kavun.City, Evgenia Virlich, filed a complaint with the Commission on Journalistic Ethics against the 1+1 channel for an issue from the New Year’s show of Kvartal 95.
