On Christmas Eve, SBS Gayo Daejeon 2023, a famous South Korean music festival that takes place annually, took place at the INSPIRE Arena in Incheon, South Korea, and features unforgettable performances by some of the biggest k-pop idols.
This year’s edition was led by Keyby SHINee, Yeonjunfrom TXT and An YuJinby IVE, and featured performances by the following artists: Stray Kids, (G)I-DLE, TXT, IVE, LE SSERAFIM, ZEROBASEONE, RIIZE, THE BOYZ, ATEEZ, ITZY, STAYC, aespa, ENHYPEN, NMIXX, BOYNEXTDOOR, TVXQ, SHINee, NCT 127, NCT DREAM, fromis_9, CRAVITY, NewJeans, xikers, NiziU and &TEAM.
In addition, the event also featured collaborative performances between some stars, which drove fans crazy. The presenters YunaIt is Yeonjunfor example, came together to perform the special stage “I am SOLO”, where they paid tribute to the solo careers of Jungkookby BTS, and Jennieby BLACKPINK.
TVXQ!, which celebrated its 20th anniversary this month, was also honored by some of its juniors. Xiaojun, Doyoung It is Chenlefrom NCT, and the girl group aespa, all from the same company, performed some of the duo’s biggest hits, to celebrate their two-decade career.
