Enlisted in the South Korean army since December 12, Jimin, from BTS, surprises by announcing the release of a solo track; see when!
By surprise, BIGHIT Music announced this Wednesday, the 20th, that Jiminof BTS, will release a new solo track. Titled “Closer Than This”, the digital single will be released on music streaming platforms on December 22nd.
The information was released through Weverse, where the company revealed that the track was created for the ARMY (as BTS fans are called):
‘Closer Than This’ is a heartfelt fan song that sums up Jimin’s genuine feelings for ARMY. As we approach the final days of 2023, we hope that ‘Closer Than This’, with its lyrics conveying Jimin’s love and affection for his fans, brings hope and affection,” says the company’s note on the platform.
On social media, the company also released the first preview of the track through a poster where the track name appears superimposed on a purple background, a color that represents the love and trust that BTS places on the fandom. Look!
please note that Jimin has been enlisted in the South Korean army since December 12, when he reported to the 5th Infantry Division recruit training center in Yeoncheon County, South Korea, alongside his groupmate, Jungkook.
Jimin made his solo debut on March 24 of this year with the release of the album “FACE”, which was accompanied by a MV for the title track “Like Crazy”. Remember!
