The series “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” already has the first two episodes available in the Disney+ catalog
This Wednesday, the 20th, the Disney+ released the first two episodes of “Percy Jackson and the Olympians”, an adaptation of the literary series of the same name written by Rick Riordanwhich in this first season portrays the events of the first book in the saga: “Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief”.
The series was one of the most anticipated releases of the year, even more so for fans of the books, since the film adaptations released in 2010 and 2013 did not please the public because they were not faithful to the narrative created by the author on the pages. But, did the new production manage to please?
FAN REACTION
On social media, fan reactions have been positive. On everything the way I imagined reading the books years ago.”
User @korysfire shared the same opinion, in addition to stating that the series “is already one of the best literary adaptations”:
Completely overwhelmed by the emotion of seeing every comma in the book being translated on screen exactly, Percy Jackson is already one of the best literary adaptations and it’s so beautiful pic.twitter.com/FSfrJGxy1A

Another positive point were the scenarios, as they provided immersion in the story, as stated by @philtctos:
HOW they managed to do everything exactly the way I imagined every detail from the chalets to the strawberry fields… even seeing it for the first time I felt a sense of home and belonging, seeing Camp Half-Blood as if I had known it my whole life #Percy Jacksonpic.twitter.com/vyzccFps34
