Saena, Sio and Aran officially left FIFTY FIFTY in October this year after their exclusive contracts ended. Understand the case!

This Tuesday, the 19th, a source from ATTRAKT, the company responsible for forming the girl group FIFTY FIFTY, announced that the agency is filing a complaint against Saena, Zion It is Aran, former members of the group, due to breach of contract, and to The Givers, for participating in the breach. The source said:
“We have filed civil actions against former FIFTY FIFTY members Saena, Sio and Aran for compensation of damages and penalties for breach of exclusive contracts, Ahn Sung Il and Baek Jin Sil of The Givers for actively engaging in the wrongful breach of exclusive contracts, and to the parents of the three members for compensation for damages caused by joint illegal activities.”
According to the report, as reported by the Soompi portal, ATTRAKT would be asking for compensation of around 13 billion won (approximately 49 million reais).
In a note, the lawyer responsible for the agency, Park Jae Heon of Lee & Ko, said, “This lawsuit goes beyond simple compensation for damages and we will do our best to move this process forward, keeping in mind that this is an important opportunity to establish fair business practices in the entertainment sector.”
FIFTY FIFTY Case
It is worth remembering that the legal dispute between FIFTY FIFTY and ATTRAKT began in June, when the company responsible for forming the group accused Warner Music Korea of trying to manipulate the members to break their exclusive contracts.
In the same month, the four members, Aran, Keena, Saena It is Zion filed a court request to suspend the contracts. In July, an attempt at mediation took place between the parties, which was unsuccessful.
In August, the request presented by the members was denied by the Seoul Central District Court, but the decision was soon appealed. Shortly afterwards, in October, Keena decided to cancel the appeal and maintain their contract with ATTRAKT, while the other members continued the legal battle.
The exclusive contract for Saena, Zion It is Aran were officially closed on October 19th. In the same month, ATTRAKT announced that FIFTY FIFTY will be reformulated and reintroduced to the public with three new members, alongside Keena. The identities of the new idols have not yet been revealed.
