The Rick and Morty saga is far from over, and fans can expect many more twists and turns in the coming seasons.
The popular animated series Rick and Morty, whose seventh season ended yesterday, December 17, will receive three more seasons. MSN reported it.
In particular, in a recent interview, executive producer Scott Marder talked about work on the show’s ninth season and hinted at a ten-season saga currently in the works.
“I’m not good at creating suspense and teasing. I can tell you that we are in the middle of writing the ninth season. I can also tell you that we already have several ideas for the tenth season that are already sort of confirmed. There is a complete plan for the entire saga for ten seasons,” he said.
It was noted that the seventh season was very difficult for the show, as the original voice of Rick and Morty, Justin Roiland, was removed from Adult Swim projects after allegations of domestic violence. Also, one of the biggest changes that fans have noticed in previous seasons is that more effort has been put into tying the stories of each season together.
It was previously reported that Disney was simultaneously working on the third and fourth parts of the Heart of Ice animated film.
