50 shades of hair. From Marion Cotillard to Antoine Griezmann, the boldest cuts of 2023.

From the Cannes Film Festival to the Met Gala, including previews and Fashion Week, there were plenty of opportunities to shine on the red carpet this year. And if the outfit isn’t enough, some personalities don’t hesitate to choose hairstyles that stand out from the crowd.

The winner of the award this year is definitely actress Florence Pugh with her many options around her short hairstyle. We’ve seen her go from a nearly shaved brown head to platinum blonde, through fiery orange blonde or even dusty pink.

It’s the latter option that seduced Marion Cotillard in a dusty pink bowl cut for May’s Met Gala. While Cara Delevingne chose the gray of Karl Lagerfeld, who the event paid homage to. Bold color thus had a rich year, with triumphant blue on Lady Helen Mirren’s hair, purple on Kelly Osbourne and neon pink on Antoine Griezmann.

We also notice a certain taste in accessories. XXL feathers, shells or even leaves are all active for real hair bias. Finally, retro touches seem to offer bold options, as evidenced by Maisie Williams’ notched effect or Lisa Rinna’s Mireille Darc cut. It remains to be seen what awaits us in 2024.
