Last Sunday, the 10th, MOODZ were surprised with the announcement that Cho Seung YounO WOODZknown in Brazil as Luizinhowill enlist in the South Korean army in January 2024. The information was shared by the soloist himself through a letter to fans.

“Hello, this is Cho Seung Youn.
I’m writing this letter today because I have news I want to tell MOODZ directly.
I was called up by my country and will serve in the military starting January 22, 2024.
My military enlistment, which always seemed so far away, has now arrived, and it feels like I’ve been thinking about my enlistment since last year.
For a moment, I will be a little further away than I am now and I will do my utmost in my military duty, not as WOODZ, but as a young man named Cho Seung Youn, before returning.
Almost 10 years have passed since I debuted and started working [como cantor].
