The star appeared in the title role in the final story of The Eagle, an anthology film devoted to animals suffering ecocide caused by war.
Hollywood actor Sean Penn starred in the film War Through the Eyes of Animals directed by Miroslav Slaboshpytsky. The video was published on YouTube.
According to the plot, the events of the story unfold at the beginning of a full-scale invasion of the Chernobyl reserve, where a young sound engineer records the voices of rare birds commissioned by a foreign producer.
Filming took place in the USA in a studio where the voices of Frank Sinatra, Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney, Justin Timberlake, characters from the series Friends and the animated series The Simpsons were once heard.
“This is a very exciting moment for me – working with a true legend of world cinema, one of the best actors of our time. And I am completely amazed by his professionalism and dedication. To meet such an actor on the set is an absolute happiness for the director and a real celebration of pure art”, said Slaboshpitsky.
