“We are thrilled to renew the Squid Games franchise with our team in Korea and producers Studio Lambert and The Garden for this epic competition show,” said Brandon Rigg, Netflix VP of Non-Fiction Series.
It is known that after the announcement of the renewal of the second season, Netflix has opened the recruitment process for actors. Anyone over the age of 21 can participate in the casting. To do this, you need to fill out an application on the website and record a one-minute video presentation.
It is not yet known what the show’s second season will be, but it is believed to be inspired by the second season of the original Squid Game series, which is set to air in 2024.
