In 2022, the winner of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Armenia was also the representative of France, Lissandro, with the song Oh Maman!
On Sunday, November 26, the final of the children’s song contest was held in Nice Eurovision 2023. France won for the second year in a row.
In particular, 13-year-old Zoe Klose with the song Cœur won the jury vote and the audience vote, earning 228 points.
The second and third places were taken by Sandra Valero from Spain (201 points) and Jan Gerls from Armenia (180 points), respectively.
As for Ukraine, our country was represented at the song competition by nine-year-old Anastasia Dimid, who performed the song Kvitka.
The jury gave the young artist 45 points (9th place), and the audience – 83 points (3rd place). As a result, Ukraine showed one of the best results since 2018 and took the fifth place.
It was previously reported that the organizers of the national selection for Eurovision 2024 announced the ten finalists who will compete for the right to represent Ukraine in the music competition.
