Humor and tribute
We’ve talked a lot about Kate Middleton’s clothes or her recent clash with her brother Harry, but have we noticed the many moves she likes to flaunt, like a step away from the ritualistic role? Here’s what two netizens, one on Instagram and the other on TikTok, had fun creating said choreography in a video that veers between humor and respect.

Dance for a living
The post opens with a clip from a trip to Denmark in 2022, where the Princess of Wales, summoned to get up close for a sacred official photo with Queen Margrethe, busts out a few dance moves, discreet but devilishly effective. The sequence caught on camera quickly went viral, so much so that it was nicknamed the “princess shuffle,” a dance made especially popular by the group LMFAO in the 2010s. In another segment, we see Kate Middleton on a trip to Tuvalu. In 2012, in the Polynesian archipelago, trying out a local dance in traditional dress and crown. Then, among the children, we see the princess visibly learning choreography. Then, England obliges, it is Kate Middleton who dances with Paddington the bear, on the station platform; the latter even prepared his own waltz.
But it’s the last scene that’s most remarkable, perfectly symbolizing the hip-swaying appeal of Georges, Charlotte and Louis’ mother. Attending Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum jubilee in Belize, we see her trying out a traditional island dance. In the middle of the area, the latter, unimpressed, takes a few steps, unlike her husband, who watches without going there. Another proof that there really is a difference between Kate and William. when the latter doesn’t have to be out of his crown prince costume, at the risk of sometimes squeezing into it, it brings a less conventional, more playful touch. Shall we dance later?
