As reported by the portal O Tempo, the franchise’s producers and filmmakers do not intend to make a new film without there being a new work of art. Collins about this universe and, to date, the author has no plans to release a new book.
The world of “The Hunger Games”, however, still has several loopholes that could result in new works or spin-offs. During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the director Francis Lawrencewho directs “A Cantiga dos Pássaros e das Serpentes” and worked on “Em Chamas” and “A Esperança”, revealed that, if Suzanne came up with a new book, he would be willing to produce a new film.
“If Suzanne has another idea that she thinks fits into the world of Panem — whether it’s new people or familiar characters — I’d be interested in being a part of it,” the filmmaker revealed.
