Dressed head-to-toe in Chanel, Carole Bouquet arrives at the Trophée des Arts Gala Dinner in New York City this Wednesday (November 15). An outfit taken from the fashion house’s 2021-2022 fall-winter couture collection and signed by artistic director Virginie Viard. On the red carpet, the French actress wore a long tweed coat with a large collar, a salmon pink skirt with feathers and two-material round-toe shoes. A look she accessorized with Chanel logo black tights and pearl earrings. For Carole Bouquet to once again honor her title as Ambassador of the House with two C’s.

An evening of solidarity
It was at this annual event organized by the French Institute Alliance Française (FIAF) that Carol Bouquet received the Arts Trophy. Established in 1992, this award honors an artist or person in the cultural field who exemplifies FIAF’s mission of Franco-American friendship and intercultural exchange. Bruno Pawlowski, president of Chanel’s fashion division, received the Pilier d’Or award, created in 2006, which honors a businessperson, diplomat or philanthropist for exceptional contributions to the Franco-American community.
FIAF President Tatiana Franck attended this solidarity evening to raise funds to promote the teaching of the French language and the diversity of French-speaking culture in the world. Among the guests, we also met the former president of FIAF, Marie-Monique Steckel, the American poet Rachel Eliza Griffiths, the writer Salman Rushdie and the French actor William Abadi (Emily in Paris) The 2023 edition also celebrated the Institute’s 125th anniversary.
