A strike in Hollywood led to changes in the release dates of some films.

Actors will reach full production capacity for the first time since May 2023 after a preliminary agreement with AMPTP is approved.

With the four-month strike by actors in Hollywood, some movies will be released later than expected. This was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.

In particular, Deadpool 3 will be released on July 26, 2024, instead of May 3, 2024.

Captain America: New World Orderwhich was previously dated July, has been postponed by nine months to February 14, 2025.

Movie premiere from Marvel Studios Thunders starring Florence Pugh and Sebastian Stan has been moved from December 20, 2024 to July 25, 2025. Movie Blade starring Mahershala Ali has been delayed by nine months and moved to November 7, 2025, instead of February 14.

Disney also postponed Mufasa: The Lion King until December 20, 2024 (rescheduled from July 5, 2024). The prequel is directed by Barry Jenkins.

It was previously reported that an NBC Universal intern accidentally revealed the release date of the fifth installment of the Shrek franchise.
