The EcoEast section will host the world premiere of Bartko’s feature-length documentary film.
The documentary will be screened in Germany at the international film festival FilmFestival Cottbus Bartko Ukrainian director Vladimir Bakum. This was reported by the State Film Agency of Ukraine.
The feed will be displayed in the EcoEas section. This is the first Ukrainian film on eco-themes in this section.
The film tells the story of Vasily Pavlovich, a forester from the Ukrainian Carpathians, who cuts forests all his life and periodically suffers from floods. According to the hero, global warming is the reason for this.
It should be noted that the EcoEast section is dedicated to films from Central and Eastern Europe that raise the topic of ecology and its threats from logging to quarrying.
It was previously reported that the State Agency for Tourism Development of Ukraine received the Silver Dolphin at the Cannes Corporate Media & TV Awards festival.
