Last week, PLEDIS Entertainment issued a statement announcing that Mingyumember of the SEVENTEENwould need to be absent from group activities after experiencing “sudden and disabling lower back pain”, and be advised by doctors to remain at rest.

We would like to provide an update on SEVENTEEN member Mingyu and his resumption of activities.
On Thursday, October 26th, Mingyu visited the hospital due to sudden lower back pain. Following the recommendation of the medical team, the artist underwent a period of rest and received the necessary treatments, and we are pleased to inform you that he recovered surprisingly quickly and that his physical condition improved greatly.
As such, Mingyu will be participating in SEVENTEEN’s activities starting today.
