With a script by Thalita Rebouças, ‘Tudo Por Um Popstar 2’ is a spin-off of the film released in 2018
With a script written by the renowned writer Thalita Rebouçasand direction of Marco Antonio by Carvalho, the film “Tudo Por Um Pop Star 2” concluded filming last Monday, the 23rd, and is scheduled to premiere in Brazilian cinemas next year.
“Tudo Por Um Pop Star 2” is a spin-off of the film released in 2018, and tells the story of three friends — Duda (Gabriella Saraivah), Julinha (Laura Castro) and Bia (Bela Fernandes) — who live in the interior of Rio de Janeiro. They plan a trip to celebrate their 15 years of friendship and attend the closing show of the tour by a great Pop Star, who studied with them as a teenager and is now the most famous young singer in Brazil.
For new production, Thalita Rebouças maintained the spirit of the first film that won over the public and, in addition to being a screenwriter, she also gives life to the owner of a karaoke bar called Margô.
“The warm welcome from the crew and the opportunity to play a role in this film were truly special for me. It was a chance, as an author, to become part of the story that came out of my head. It was really cool to get on set and see the things that They left my mind to be told, right?”, reveals Thalita.
Gabriella Saraivah, Bela Fernandes, Laura Castrothe protagonists, and the actor Lucas Burgattithe Pop Star, also shared their experiences during filming.
Gabriella Saraivahwho plays the character Duda, expressed his enthusiasm: “I was very happy with the invitation to be in the cast of ‘Tudo Por Um Pop Star 2’. I’m a fan of the first film, so being with incredible, talented people, with a very good too, it was wonderful. Dudley is a character that I had a lot of fun playing.”
On the other hand, Bela Fernandeswho brings Bia to life, also told a little about her participation: “I’m very excited about the new story and the new path that ‘Tudo Por Um Pop Star 2’ is taking. People can expect a film with unexpected events, which It will please everyone of all ages.”
Laura CastroJulinha’s interpreter and one of the new additions to the cast, was full of praise for the team and co-stars: “The cast, I think it was the best part of this experience. We got along so well, we say that we got along so well. very lucky, to meet people who match our energy, good people, people who wanted to be there and who did their best.”
Lucas Burgatti spoke a little about his experience of playing a Pop Star: “It was a school for me, with an incredible cast that did their best. I learned a lot and had fun from the beginning to the end of filming. I was super happy with this opportunity.”
