The next MTV Europe Music Awards will take place in November next year.

The MTV Europe Music Awards ceremony in Paris has been canceled due to “unstable world events.” It was reported by Reuters.

The event is scheduled to be broadcast live on November 5th. Among the award nominees are Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Foo Fighters.

“Due to volatile world events, we have decided not to host the 2023 MTV EMAs out of an abundance of caution for the thousands of employees, crew members, artists, fans and partners who are traveling from all over corner of the world to bring this show to life,” organizers said in a statement.

They continued that the MTV EMAs were an annual world music festival, but because of the war in Israel, it was irrelevant.

“As we watch the devastating events in Israel and Gaza continue to unfold, we cannot help but feel that now is the time for global celebration. With thousands of lives lost, this is a moment of mourning. We look forward to the -host the MTV EMAs in November 2024.” organizers.

It was previously reported that the British rock band Muse, during the awarding ceremony of the prestigious MTV Europe Music Awards 2022, expressed support for the Ukrainian people.
