In August this year, SM Entertainment issued a statement announcing that Taeilmember of the NCTsuffered a motorcycle accident and would need to be absent from the group’s next activities due to a fracture in his right thigh caused by the event.
The note also states that, after visiting the hospital, doctors came to the conclusion that the idol would need to undergo surgery, which was carried out successfully. This Wednesday, the 18th, the company spoke again on the matter, giving updates to fans about the current state of health of Taeil and its future activities.

Taeil, who suffered a motorcycle accident last August, underwent successful surgery and is recovering his health focusing on treatment with the desire to greet fans as soon as possible.
However, as he still needs sufficient treatment and stability, Taeil will not be able to participate in NCT 127’s third tour ‘NEO CITY — THE UNITY’, scheduled for November. We ask for fans’ generous understanding.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude to the fans who are concerned about Taeil’s health and will do our best to ensure that Taeil can greet fans again in good health.

The first shows of the ‘NEO CITY — THE UNITY’ tour are scheduled to take place in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, with six performances confirmed between the 17th and 19th, and 24th and 26th of November. So far, there is still no information about a possible presentation in Brazil.
NCT 127 was the second NCT sub-unit to debut. The group composed of Taeil, Johnny, Taeyeong, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Mark It is Haechan debuted in July 2016 through SM Entertainment, with the mini-album “NCT#127”.
