The song was created from excerpts made in sessions for their 13th studio album The Miracle in 1989. Mercury died two years later.
The cult band Queen has announced the fall release of an anonymous song by their frontman Freddie Mercury called Face It Alone. The BBC reported this.
The musicians called the song “Freddie’s little pearl”.
“It was like he was hiding in plain sight. We looked at him a lot of times and thought, ‘Oh, nothing’s going to happen here.’ But then we went back to him again, and our amazing engineering team said, ‘OK, we can.’
It will be recalled that Queen’s video for the song Bohemian Rhapsody garnered more than a billion views on the band’s official YouTube channel.
