Starring Lee Dohyun, ’18 Again’ is inspired by the romantic comedy starring Zac Efron
The k-drama “18 Again”, starring Lee Dohyunwill finally arrive on TNT NOVELAS, a new pay TV channel dedicated to the universe of high quality global soap operas.
The production will arrive on the service on October 9th, and will feature new episodes from Monday to Friday, at 4:25 pm, in addition to a marathon with reruns on the weekends: on Saturday at 9 am and Sunday at 6 pm.
“18 Again” is inspired by the film “17 Again”, starring Zac Efron. The plot follows Hong Dae-yeong (Yoon Sanghyun), a popular teenager at school who seemed to have a promising future. But at 35 years old, experiencing a midlife crisis, being fired from work, an imminent divorce and several fights with his children, he wonders how it all went wrong.
The protagonist decides to return to his old school and, while fantasizing about the good times of the past, wishes he was 18 again. Like a miracle, he wakes up in the body of an 18-year-old teenager, but with the mentality of a forty-year-old. Given this second chance, he changes his name to Go Wuyeong (Lee Dohyun) and begins a new life, which includes new opportunities to get closer to his teenage children.
The cast of “18 Again” includes a long list of stars from South Korean productions. Among them, we have Kim Ha-neul, Wi Ha-Joon, No Jeong-ee, Yoon Sang-hyun, Lee Ki Woo, Ryeoun, Lee Do-hyun, Kim Kang-hyun, Kim Yoo-ri It is Lee Mi-do. The production is also available on HBO Max.
