Recently, during an interview with Money Today, the actress and singerKrystal Jung, who was part of the original formation of the girl group, commented on the matter when asked about the possibility of a group reunion. She said:
I have a group chat with the members. We talked about our current whereabouts with each other. Everyone is living a busy life. When I see the meetings of other groups, I feel moved. To be honest, we didn’t expect our last album to be our last. I think I will be very happy if we have the chance to get together again.”
It is worth remembering that of(x) never had its disbandment officially announced. The girl group debuted under SM Entertainment on September 5, 2009, with five members: Victoria, Amber, Luna, Krystal It is Sulliwho passed away in October 2019.
Krystal also commented in the interview about the possibility of debuting as a soloist.
[…] It’s not that I never thought about debuting as a solo singer. But the situation was never possible, either with my schedule or without having suitable music. If the opportunity arises, I would like to take the stage again. I can’t forget the vibration and emotion of being on stage, sharing the energy with the audience. I want to try it again.”
At the moment, Krystal is promoting “Cobweb”, his newest film. The indie production premiered in South Korea last Wednesday, the 27th, and was selected to participate in the Cannes Festival.
