The highly-anticipated Netflix documentary series about the British football icon, simply titled Beckham, yesterday, Tuesday September 19, premiered the first trailer for these four hour-long episodes. They are dedicated to David Beckham’s career and his romance with the equally iconic Victoria Beckham. In this trailer, which lasts more than 2 minutes and 40 minutes and is full of archival images, the two characters appear in front of the camera as other guests, relatives, parents or colleagues.

This original work will be a kind of journey through time, as it will first return to the childhood of a small Londoner from the north-east boroughs, the son of a hairdresser and a kitchen master, destined for a great career: football. “I was never really good at school because all I wanted to do was play football,” he can be heard recalling. Then comes the story of his rise. decade at Manchester United and the 1998-99 season, historic in many ways, where David built his legend by winning the Champions League, the league and the FA Cup.
