HYBE ensured that the seven members of BTS renewed their contracts with BigHit Music, even with the group’s hiatus
HYBE announced this Wednesday, the 20th, that all BTS members have renewed their contracts with BigHit Music. In a note, the company said: “The board of directors concluded [sua decisão] to renew the exclusive contracts of all seven members of BIGHIT MUSIC artist BTS” (via Soompi).
After the news was released, RMleader and main rapper of BTS, posted on his Instagram stories a photo of the contract and a small art, tagging the group’s official account, highlighting 2025, the year in which the boy group is expected to make a comeback, after the current hiatus.
It is worth remembering that BTS debuted under Big Hit Entertainment (currently Big Hit Music) in 2013, and has its original lineup to this day. The members of the group are: RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V It is Jungkook.
This year, the boy group celebrated 10 years since their debut. Despite being on hiatus, which is expected to last until 2025 due to South Korea’s mandatory military enlistments, the song “Take Two” was released in July as a way of celebrating their debut anniversary. The track recalls the achievements already achieved by the group alongside their fans, and also celebrates everything that is yet to come. Listen!
