Barcelona hosts the 2nd Shiseido Beauty & Innovation Summit

After a very successful first edition in Venice, Shiseido celebrated its second Beauty and Innovation Summit in Barcelona from 5 to 6 September. This time on the occasion of the 33rd annual convention of the IFSCC (International Federation of Societies of Cosmetic Chemists), the event highlighted what makes up the essence of the house, particularly highlighting its holistic approach to beauty. Bringing together experts, researchers, dermatologists and influencers from around the world, the Shiseido Beauty Summit was a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the Shiseido universe.

Absolute beauty.”green science,” advances in the microbiome, or the group’s latest innovations in antiaging, were among the topics on Tuesday, September 5th. After the conferences, the guests had the opportunity to discover one of the emblematic buildings of the city, La Llotja de Mar, during the gala dinner. In the heart of this magnificent neoclassical building, guests were able to taste the culinary creations of star chef Nandu Jubani, who created a brand new menu for the occasion. To end the evening, DJettes Mëstiza from Madrid captivated the audience with their live performances, mixing flamenco, African and Latin rhythms with a touch of electro.

The following day, guests were able to attend the IFSCC Congress, where Shiseido also held conferences organized around the themes of “Reimagining Beauty” and “Reimagining Science,” led by holistic beauty pioneers including Dr. Kajia. These days once again demonstrated the expertise of Shiseido, which received awards for its innovative research in the areas of Basic Research and Applied Research.
