Inner life (Universal), somewhere between 1990s French Touch and rave-influenced electricity. My news ?
On this second album, I wanted to trust more. Music saved my life and I wanted to sing it. We are often under the impression that for those born in the suburbs like myself, family history is limited to the suburbs, but that is not true. My grandparents come from the country, they raised cows in Brittany. My mother arrived in Paris alone at the age of 17, following her dreams. Ambition, work value and family have always been a part of me. This album is a tribute to all these people who opened up a field of possibilities for me and gave me the strength to climb and learn about cultures.

My take on the scene ?
I am very excited to sing at the Olympia. It’s not the first time I’ve been on this stage, but imagining performing in a room that holds so much history is always very exciting. I am passionate about Jacques Higuelin, who sang there many times, mesmerizing the audience. His sense of improvisation without nets, the way he dug into the meaning of words, the anger that animated him and that he shared in his lyrics radiated to the audience. This is what I try to do with my more electronic and pointillistic musical language, which I hope leads to a kind of collective trance.

Talking about yourself in a promotion is bad luck. ?
When I released my first EP, I didn’t want to show off. I hid behind a large hooded sweatshirt. In the cover photo, my hand was covering my face. Talking about myself is not what I like the most, but from the first interview I realized that I had a certain taste for it. I am interested in any subject that touches on culture, art and creativity.
My personality ?
What I love most in the world is meeting people, traveling, discovering faces and cultures. The further I go, the more I realize that I am hypersensitive, which is not always pleasant or easy to live with. I feel everything very intensely, sometimes excessively. Music helps me share these emotions and have projects that give stability and meaning to these roller coasters. I’m always thinking about the title, the tone, the permutations of the words.
The subject that throws me off my hinges ?
Some urban legends. Rap is very important in the music market today and I’m happy about it. But I do worry about the fascination that trendy Parisians sometimes have for suburban life and the rapper look. Fashion always comes from the street. But we should be inspired by it, not make a caricature of it.
Am I in temptation mode or a warrior? ?
You don’t go to war in life without temptation in your weapon.
Perfect outfit for an interview ?
Loose jeans and a white t-shirt. It’s a timeless and universal look that brings to mind both Elvis and Jay-Z, James Dean and Serge Gainsbourg.
Misunderstanding about me ?
An AFP report the day after the Victoires de la Musique said I was born in Brittany. Indeed, I spend a lot of time there, but I was born near Paris, in Saint-Cyr-l’Ecole, between Trappie and Versailles.
What am I going to do after this interview? ?
I’m going to shoot the video for the song Will not. I am passionate about cinema and often share the same links with the directors of my videos. Billy Elliot And Forrest Gump.
