During the VMA 2023, Anitta and TXT performed their new song “Back for More”. Watch!
Last Tuesday, the 12th, the VMA 2023 took place in New Jersey, in the United States. In addition to rewarding some of the most prominent artists of the year, the event also featured iconic performances, including the collaboration between the Brazilian Anitaand the k-pop group TOMORROW X TOGETHER, or simply TXT.
The stars came together to present their new song “Back for More” for the first time, which is scheduled to be released on digital platforms on September 15th, next Friday. Check out the performance — which even featured an incredible funk break!
It is worth remembering that, in addition to the memorable presentation, Anita and TXT also left the event with their own awards. The Brazilian took the “Best Latin Video” category for the second year in a row, with the video for “Funk Rave”, while the South Korean group won in the “PUSH Performance of the Year” category, with “Sugar Rush Ride”.
K-pop at the VMAs 2023
In addition to TXT, other K-pop stars were also awarded at this year’s VMAs. Stray Kids, in addition to performing the song “S-Class” live on the awards stage, were also the big winners in the “Best K-pop” category.
Already Jungkookfrom BTS, won the “Song of the Summer” award with their solo debut “Seven”, while BLACKPINK won two astronaut statuettes: for “Group of the Year”, and “Best Choreography” with “PINK VENOM”, a choreographed song per Kiel Tutin, Sienna Lalau, Lee Jung (YGX) and Taryn Cheng (YGX).
