The fighter of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and the poet said that the streaming platform does not communicate with him.
The streaming platform Netflix released a Polish documentary series Mothers of War, in which they literally “buried” the famous poet and fighter of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Pavel Vyshebaba. The military itself spoke about it.
“Netflix didn’t have time to say hello to me, because they immediately said goodbye. The documentary series Mother of War, which aired on their platform, turned out to be not very documentary. It ends with a story about me with a bunch of pictures. and video, reading lines from my poems. Dramatic music suddenly plays , the video turns black and white and the narrator says that Vyshebaba died near Severodonetsk,” Vyshebaba wrote.
According to him, the Polish authors of the series do not communicate with him.
“They thought that I had been togo. Why – I don’t know. The ending of the series was really dramatic, but there was a nuance. I continue to serve – always in the 68th brigade – and I want my friends and readers not to be afraid , at least Therefore, if you have time, inspiration and access to the creators of the series Matki Wojny or Netflix, please write to them about this mistake,” added the poet.
Netflix has not yet commented on the situation.
Recall that Vyshebaba had previously written a poem about the struggle for freedom in the war with the Russian Federation.
